Sit Up Front.

An interesting fact about the last Find Your Husband event. The women who sat up front and participated the most are: actively working on themselves in a healthy and beautiful way, in loving relationships, engaged and/or married. The women who sat in the back are still where they were when they attended the class. So, Be On Time, Be Open to what you'll learn and Be Active and Present on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 3PM in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Marriage Capital of The World!

She Believed In Me More Than I Believed In Myself.

From Humans of New York.  Live without regrets by seizing the opportunity for love when it presents itself to you whether you think you are ready or not.  Otherwise, live for the next 40 years wondering what could have been like this man:

"I recently managed to completely let go of my past."
"What part of your past was the hardest to let go?"
"A missed opportunity with a woman. She believed in me more than I believed in myself, but I wasn't ready to commit. She told me: 'If you keep on like this, you're going to end up old and alone.'"
"How long ago was that?"
"40 years."

Let Go Of Rules and Walls To Find Your Hubby.

A familiar tale from Mike Rowe ("Dirty Jobs"):

"I had drinks last night with a woman I know. Let’s call her Claire. Claire just turned 42. She’s cute, smart, and successful. She’s frustrated though, because she can’t find a man. I listened all evening about how difficult her search has been. About how all the “good ones” were taken. About how her other friends had found their soul-mates, and how it wasn’t fair that she had not.

“Look at me,” she said. “I take care of myself. I’ve put myself out there. Why is this so hard?”

“How about that guy at the end of the bar,” I said. “He keeps looking at you.”

“Not my type.”

“Really? How do you know?”

“I just know.”

“Have you tried a dating site?” I asked.

“Are you kidding? I would never date someone I met online!”

“Alright. How about a change of scene? Your company has offices all over – maybe try living in another city?”

“What? Leave San Francisco? Never!”

“How about the other side of town? You know, mix it up a little. Visit different places. New museums, new bars, new theaters…?”

She looked at me like I had two heads. “Why the hell would I do that?”

Here’s the thing. Claire doesn’t really want a man. She wants the “right” man. She wants a soul-mate. Specifically, a soul-mate from her zip code. She assembled this guy in her mind years ago, and now, dammit, she’s tired of waiting!!

I didn’t tell her this, because Claire has the capacity for sudden violence. But it’s true. She complains about being alone, even though her rules have more or less guaranteed she’ll stay that way. She has built a wall between herself and her goal. A wall made of conditions and expectations."

Dating in the modern world will most certainly lead to #9: Die Alone. If a man steps outside of this list, know that he's very special.

Deepen Your Respect Over Time and Never Take Your Loved One(s) For Granted.

In a relationship, any relationship but especially a romantic relationship, respect should be deepening and one should never take the other for granted. The best sign of a healthy relationship? After many years, you are respected and cherished. That's how *I* know I married the right man.

A teacher CAN NOT take the test for you. We'll go over this concept and how it applies to your relationships with men on Sunday, June 8, 2014.  It's not what you think.  It's a very simple concept but one that is the most effective with men.

Look At What Age-Range HE Is Interested In To Determine His Level of Seriousness.

5/13/2014

Age is a factor perhaps not in the way you think it is though. Look at a man's profile when he contacts you.

If he's 50 years old and only interested in women aged 20-29, that tells you so much about his level of maturity.

This man is not looking for a wife or a serious girlfriend. He wants a trophy, arm candy, a plaything and he's probably going through a midlife crisis. He might even be ALREADY married.   Take note of the age range HE is looking for to determine how serious he is!
